This section allows to enter the different configuration for your SMTP server.
A Test button is available to test your connectivity.
The password will not be visible anymore once set. |
Default Email From |
The default email address to use as the source of email messages for platform invitations and messages missing a From field. |
Default Email To |
The default email address to send product feedbacks to and messages missing a To field. |
Microsoft Teams
This section configures Microsoft Teams integration to be able to retrieve user email address based on Microsoft Entara ID object id that is provided by Microsoft Teams when:

when using outgoing webhook to trigger services in DES

when using user task notifications as posts in Teams channel

when posting messages to Teams channel
Identity created for this integration must request ChannelMessage.Send scope and following official documentation, application registration in Microsoft Entara must also use ChannelMessage.Send permission.

It is also recommended to create the identity with system user instead of individual as the identity behind will be used to post messages. By that user who posts notifications from DES will be the user of this identity.
The user that was used to create the identity needs to also be member of the channel(s) that messages will be posted to. |
