Process Instance Termination Policy
The Process Instance Termination Policy attribute allows you to define if the process instance should be automatically terminated after a certain amount of time when executing.
In order to set the "Process Instance Termination Policy" attribute, right click on your process (either on a page or on pool) and select "Process Instance Termination Policy…" in the attributes sub-menu.
The following dialog will show.
When the duration field is blank, the process instance will not be automatically terminated.
When a value is entered, the process will get terminated after the specified amount of time. That time can be calculated from the process start by selecting "Activation" in the "Relative to" section. Or it can be calculated from the last time the process was updated by selecting "Proccess Update" in the "Relative to" section allowing to clean inactive processes.
