Analysis data
In modelers defining an activity, it is possible to capture analysis metrics.
Analysis metrics are defined in the details panel ( ) of an element under the Time, Cost, Value and Quality tabs of elements defining how things are done (activity).
Time
Lag Time |
Elapsed time from the completion the preceding activity to the start of this one. |
Processing Time |
Elapsed time from the start of the activity to its completion. |
Time values can be expressed in days, hours or seconds.
Cost
Fixed cost |
Cost not dependent on the level of goods or services produced by the business. |
Variable cost |
Cost that change in proportion. |
Cost values are numeric and expressed in the unit of the user choosing.
Value
Unspecified |
The value of this activity has not been specified yet. |
Value Adding |
Essential to the production and delivery of the product or service to meet the customer’s needs and requirements. |
Value Enabling |
Necessary precursors to Value Adding activities. Required by law or regulations to allow the Value Adding activities to be carried out. |
Non-Value Adding |
Do not add value to the customer and do not meet the criteria for a Value Adding activity. |
