Relation View

The relationship view present a matrix that present on its axis two different types of elements available in the model.

The relation view can be accessed from the View ribbon.

At the matrix intersection, there is a relation identifier (a letter) for relation that can have multiple types or a checkmark ( ) for relations that are not typed.

Depending of the modeler notation, the offered axis and relation types will be slightly different.

For example, in the workflow modeler, an activity vs. resource relation matrix is depicted with the possible RACI relationships (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed).

Clicking in the matrix intersection brings a dialog to define the relationship between the two elements.

A button with the highlight icon ( ) is available next to the axis definition. This button highlights rows or columns that contain an element without relationship.
