Client Hosting

A Client Hosting or Digital Distributed Container subscription is required.

Deployment Strategies

Two components of the Trisotech Digital Enterprise Suite (DES) can be hosted in the client cloud or on-premise environment: Digital Distributed Containers and/or the Digital Enterprise Suite itself.

The Digital Enterprise Suite (DES) contains the Trisotech modeling (Digital Modeling Suite) and the automation (Digital Automation Suite) offerings inside a single deployment. It is used by modelers to create, optimize and test models. It also allows modelers to deploy and test services built from publishing those models.

Digital Distributed Containers (DDC) are built from the Digital Enterprise Suite as independent containers containing one or more automation service. These containers offer the automation (Digital Automation Suite) portion of the Digital Enterprise Suite. They are meant to be run into advanced testing and production.

deployment

There is typically a single Digital Enterprise Suite container where different places and execution environments are configured to segment groups and deployment stages. Once the services are tested while running on the Digital Enterprise Suite, they are extracted as Digital Distributed Containers (DDC) by building one or more services into a container. Modelers use the DES, testers typically test the services on both the DES and DDC and the final service users will typically be accessed only on the DDCs. However, nothing is preventing users to consume the services directly in the Digital Enterprise Suite environments instead of having to deploy Digital Distributed Containers.

Deploying the Digital Enterprise Suite (DES) in the same environment (cloud provider, on premise) as the Digital Distributed Containers (DDC) isn’t required. However, both the DES and DDC containers require access to external services (Kafka, REST, etc.) that will be integrated with the models.
