Using the Graph

The graph views are designed for interactive exploration.

Whether you are looking at model dependencies or element relations, the same graph controls help you reduce noise and focus on the connections that matter.

Navigating the Graph

Use the graph to inspect connected nodes and relations around the current model or element.

The Graph ribbon contains zoom commands to help you work comfortably with large graphs:

  • zoom in

  • zoom out

  • return to the standard zoom level

  • fit the graph to the available space

Use these commands when a graph becomes dense or when you want to quickly re-center after exploring one area in detail.

Contextual Menu

Both graph views provide a contextual menu on graph nodes that can be opened by right clicking a node. It offers the following options:

  • Displays related nodes without recentering the graph

  • Hides related nodes

  • Add the node to the bookmarks panel

  • Opens the Element Relations View of the model (Model Dependencies View only)

  • Opens a modal detailing the node (Element Relations View only)

Using the Filter Widget

Both graph views include a collapsible filter panel.

The filter widget supports three groups:

  • Filter by Model Type

  • Filter by Node Type

  • Filter by Relation

To apply a filter:

  1. Expand the relevant section in the panel.

  2. Select or clear the checkboxes for the items you want to keep visible.

  3. Select Apply.

Use Reset to restore the current active selections in the panel.
