Activation on
You can decide to delay availability of deployed service version until defined date and time. Setting Activates on parameter allows to delay activation of service info in terms of becoming latest version of the service. This feature allows to gain more control over latest version of the service to support time based rollouts of the service.
An example of such use case is to rollout new version of the service at the first day of a month or first day of a year.
| This feature only applies to latest version and service version itself is still deployed and can process requests when targetted explicitly by it’s version number. |
Date and time needs to be set in the future. Until that date and time, service will not be accessible through latest version.
| This is an optional parameter that when not set, makes the service available immediately. |
